I took the Mensa test last week with a friend of mine, not hoping for much at all. The main reason for going was that he was having trouble with unemployment so I figured it might help his CV by having it on there, I just went along for the ride.

The test was a bit of a bastard if I'm honest, the first paper was split into four sections, each with 15 questions. The tough part was you got between 2.5-4 minutes to complete each of these 15 question sections...

Anyways we came out of there pretty worn by the test but put it to the back of our minds. I got my test results back this morning and I managed top 2% in the UK for the first test and top 3% in the second test, which is enough to pass

I know some people have negative views of mensa etc, i'm just happy that I'm not legally retarded or something! It's put me in quite a good mood!

No news on my friend though, I don't want to ask in case it's not good news, I'd rather leave the decision in his hands.
